YOU may not know his face – and that’s the way he likes it – but anyone who has attended an Empire panto for the last two years will know his work. Liverpool choreographer Lee Kelly is the man responsible for putting Cilla, Les Dennis and “the Fonz” through their paces in the Lime Street theatre’s festive extravaganzas.

But now he’s bringing his own production, One Night Only, to the venue next month. It features best friend Jennifer Ellison alongside Pete Price, Leanne Campbell and West End singer Emma Dears in an evening of musical showstoppers. “I studied at Laine Theatre Arts and most students were involved in the Royal Variety Performance,” explains the 29-year-old. “I looked about and thought, there’s a gap in the market. "There are a lot of shows I’ve done, and I’ve thought – I could put it together and put on a big night at the Empire.
“One Night Only is based on different numbers from musical theatre and popular music as well. We’ve got a five-piece band and Cilla’s MD who’s coming from London. “Having the baby means Jen’s been off stage and I’m made up she’s coming back in my show.”
