IT would take most women a lot of arm twisting and quite a substantial bribe to get them to strip off in public just months after having a baby. But that’s exactly what actress Jennifer Ellison is about to do, as she prepares to star in a new stage production of Calendar Girls.

The storyline infamously sees the women baring their all in the name of charity, concealed only by some strategically placed props. Jen tells Insider, though, that there may well be more than just bigger buns preserving her modesty when the show opens in Cardiff at the end of this month.

In fact, despite her lads mag past and the fact that she’s easily the youngest of the Girls, the 27-year-old new mum says she could be the most modest of all the cast.

“The nudity is minimal in Calendar Girls and you can wear a bra and knickers, so it’s not something I’m too worried about,” she says. “I’m sure some people will decide to go fully nude on stage.

I bet if there’s anyone who doesn’t go completely naked it will be me!”Jennifer starts rehearsals for the show this week, and says husband Rob will be bringing four-month-old baby Bobby to all the venues.

“I wouldn’t have done the tour otherwise because I miss him too much when I’m away from him,” she says. Calendar Girls will be Jen’s second job since taking a break after Bobby was born in February.

She can already be seen on screen in her first: the latest Daz Cleaner Close advert alongside EastEnders legend Dr Legg! “They approached me and I’d seen the other adverts and thought they were tongue in cheek and funny,” says Jen. “And it was going back to my soap roots, which I’m really proud of, so I jumped at the chance.”
